This snowy white owl has been a dream for some time and finally made it onto a cape. A total show stopper. This piece was seen for the first time on the runway at the, Western Design Conference, fashion show, on Thursday, August 6, Brick Breeden Field House in Bozeman, MT. Made with hand cut appliquéd wool, adorned with vintage skunk beads from the late 1800's. Lined, with an interior leather pocket - perfect for a cell phone. AND...little bison mice scamper across the front before the owl knows they are there! Hand crafted and sewn by the designer - Jennie Montana. Part of the, Best Fashion Show Collection, which won a blue ribbon at the 2026 Western Design Conference, Bozeman, MT. Competing with 14 other designers, this is Jennie Montana's second Best of Fashion Show win in a row at the WDC.
