I rescue antique quilt tops and stitch them to warm, soft bison wool that I gather and have felted at a US mill. Together, my stitching is joined with that of an unknown woman who pieced her quilt top maybe over one hundred years ago. Some are hand-stitched, some are machine-stitched, and some are a combination of both. It is a collaboration of creative energies spanning decades.
