Robins, Skull, Barbed Wire and Bison Trimmed Cape
Robins, Skull, Barbed Wire and Bison Trimmed Cape
This stalwart and loyal bird returns to Montana each spring from its winter home in the southern states to chirp, worm dive, and nest. All summer they are in the yard and fields. Perching on barbed wire, skulls, shrubs, and generally showing off their delightful red breast all season, the American Robin is a favorite. Embroidered with Jennie's original drawings in various poses; the lining is a cotton sateen print and closes with a full zipper. Inside leather pocket for cellphone and car keys. Jennie prepared and stretched the bison before having it tanned. She chose the best fluffiest bison to trim the cuffs and luxurious hood for this one-of-a-kind piece. Won, Best Collection Fashion Show, as one of six capes, at the 2024 Western Design Conference, Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
