The wild flower that holds Montana in its soul. Jennie Montana has a long history with Castilleja, Indian Paintbrush. It was the name of the all-girl's high school she graduated from in Palo Alto, CA, The Castilljea School, started by Montanan, Mary Lockey. The fondest of memories are rooted there. Every late spring, Jennie hikes up mountain sides to see if the wily Paintbrush has bloomed. To keep the memory alive, she created this bison trimmed cape! Indian Paintbrush, Monarch's, and Bison Skulls - like a scrapbook of joy you can wear. Part of the, Best Fashion Show Collection, which won a blue ribbon at the 2026 Western Design Conference, Bozeman, MT. Competing with 15 other designers, this is Jennie Montana's second win in a row at the WDC.
